1. Our Policy

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Scientific Engineer Gaming will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement. We will remove or disable access to material found to be infringing, and we will terminate the accounts of repeat infringers where applicable.

All artwork and screenshots on this site are original to Scientific Engineer Gaming or used under fair use / Creative Commons / public-domain terms, with attribution where required. If you nevertheless believe your work appears here without authorisation, follow the procedure below.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

Send a notice through the contact form (subject line: DMCA TAKEDOWN). To be valid, your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
  • The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on this site;
  • Your contact information (name, email, and if applicable, postal address);
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Note: submitting a false or bad-faith takedown notice can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Only file a notice if you genuinely hold the rights or are authorised to act for the rights holder.

3. What Happens Next

Valid notices are typically actioned within 2–3 business days: the material is removed or disabled, and the filer is notified. If the material is removed based on your notice, we may notify the affected party so they can file a counter-notice.

4. Counter-Notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice including: identification of the removed material and its former URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and your signature, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts. A valid counter-notice may result in the material being restored.

5. Repeat Infringers

In line with § 512(i), Scientific Engineer Gaming maintains a policy of terminating use of the site by repeat infringers, and will cooperate with copyright holders and their agents in good faith. For all other site questions: contact page.
