Back in 2023, the internet was full of "RE9 in 2023?" speculation, and almost none of it was accurate. Three years later, the answer is unambiguous: Resident Evil 9 is real, it is called Resident Evil: Requiem, and it launched worldwide on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, priced at $69.99 ($79.99 for the Deluxe Edition).
